Driving Simulator

This driving simulator was built to give its user the most realistic driving experience possible with computer simulation technology.

The rig was designed from the ground up using CAD. It was fabricated from MDF, and custom built to the “driver’s” specification. The controls are all state-of-the-art using some interesting technology.

One of the more interesting features is the use of a strain gauge for the brake pedal, allowing for a more realistic brake feel than conventional potentiometer controllers.
